Meet the black woman who is teaching a new perspective about black women and specific mood conditions.

A revolutionary movement specifically for black women and their mental health is brewing. An intimate place is being cultivated as a wellness retreat community for black American women to gain perspective and to reprogram. The force behind this move is a black woman named Kelly Maresha. 

Stepping out from the Christian umbrella in 2018, Kelly Maresha has been teaching this perspective and serving African American women who are inside of their journey of self-exploration and understanding. With over 30 years of spiritual saturation, she is now an Emotional Wellness Practitioner © , mentor, author, trainer and lecturer.

With a digital curriculum, private and group sessions, she has been able to walk alongside thousands of black women as they deconstruct their mental structure and behaviors.

Kelly believes that black women are entitled to something more than just therapy. As melanated womb carriers, “the mothers”, she felt it imperative to offer a place where black women can have the grace to safely dig deep emotionally inside of themselves. The “soft place to land” that melanated women have historically and currently provide for others.

Stepping into this sabbatical feels like an exhale that has been built up for decades. It’s a place where feeling understood irrupts into tears. Her sacred retreats are incredibly private and intimate. The experience covers: healthy masculine and feminine energy, harnessing your energy through time management and regulating your mood.
