Position Summary:
Manage and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented for the Customer's complaints. Responsible for improving the overall quality performance of the product we deliver to our customers.

Compliance with QRO pathway matrix, Quality management system BMS and QMS, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and ESDS 20.20 as well as customer specific requirements.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Quality Inspector.
  • Quality Technician.
  • Customer Quality Engineer.
  • As a part of the supervisory responsibilities, if there is not an employee to attend the process, the direct boss will have to attend the process or assign the activities to another employee (with equal qualifications).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for 0KM concerns (mass production).
  • Responsible for maintaining and continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system.
  • Manage containment actions for 0Km concerns (including customer sorting & Quality Alerts).
  • Develop strategy to achieve quality goals.
  • Manage additional controls with Engineering and Operations to ensure quality products during SOP + 90 days (Safe Launch Plan).
  • Execute IPSO Audit to ensure transfer to production of new products are in accordance with approved data.
  • Manage quality RMA process, review, and confirm customer deductions due to 0Km concerns (mass production).
  • Support the Quality Inspectors, Technicians and Engineers to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
  • Lead Urgent Care process.
  • Lead proactive notifications to customer due to defective material.
  • Preparation of QA reports.
  • Development of Control Plans and ensure handover for Control Plan maintenance.
  • PPAP submission process and provide customer feedback for approval.
  • Other activities as required by the Quality Manager.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS Technical Engineering Degree.
  • 3 years of prior experience as Q.A. Engineer or 5 years of prior experience in industrial product manufacturing environment.
  • Automotive Customer portals experience.
  • Knowledge of applicable Customer-Specific Requirements (FCA, GM, Ford, BMW, TOYOTA, Hyundai, KIA, etc.).
  • English 90%.
