The Role:

The Credit Control Team Lead(reporting into the AR Manager) is responsible for collecting outstanding invoices for several ICON Business Units.

Also responsible for Leading an Credit Control team of up to 7 people.

This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders to ensure timely collections as well as top of class customer service.

Ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoicesFollowing up on payment promises as neededResponding to relevant client enquiriesEntering disputes properly in the system and ensure that they are being resolved quicklyChecking and resolving unallocated payments in collaboration with the Cash Applications TeamPreparation and sending of customer statementsReconciling accountsCleaning up of older ledgersAssist with internal and external auditsPreparation of monthly Management reports.

Performing write offs for Bad Debt itemsEnsuring that all daily activities are done in compliance with SOx regulations.

As a member of staff, the employee is expected to recognize the importance of and create a Culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our Business and meeting Client needs.

Routinely meet with staff to evaluate, plan and prioritize workload.

Foster strong customer service; serve as an escalation point to provide support and dispute resolution to customers in a timely manner.

Manage monthly processes, reconciliations and reporting to meet month end deadlines.
Assist manager with ad hoc reports and special projects as needed.
Assume other reasonably related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

To be successful in the role, you will have:
Used to work with tight deadlines and targets.

Able to work independently on his/her own ledger,Must have experience as a people leaderSignificant preference will be given to candidates with Oracle ERP experience.
