We are looking for a fresh graduate that is looking to start a professional career in accounting

Position Summary:


In this position you will assist with the month-end, quarter-end, and annual close processes, prepare and post journal entries, as well as supporting FP&A team with reporting.


Essential position Functions:


  • Work within both the finance and accounting departments gathering and distributing materials.
  • File maintenance, data cleaning and transformations
  • Prepare and maintain monthly account reconciliations
  • Prepare and enter monthly journal entries: such as prepaid schedules, deferred rent, and accruals.
  • Answering tax notices received in paper form via mail, Filing, Scanning
  • Assist in the financial reporting process as needed: including collection of supporting financial data, tieout
  • Perform a variety of other routine and/or nonroutine functions and adhoc projects as assigned

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:


  • High level of expertise in Microsoft Office Excel is required
  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of accounting functions such as capitalization, depreciation, accrual and prepaid

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or 1+ years' experience in accounting/finance
