We are looking for a new colleague within the Corporate Materials Management Department - ZF Global Commodity Purchasing - Chemicals - Functional Plastics SCPHF2

Responsibilities:

Global Commodity Buyer functional plastics and resin for different Part families.
Collaborate in the management of commodity savings (product family) in all Business.
Units (BUs) to achieve the objectives set in the budget.
Leading and participating on assigned Part Family Strategy Teams.
Driving Global Competitive Sourcing (GSC).
Lead contact and negotiator for several global suppliers.
Management of continuous supplier improvement (e.g., business review, general quality, etc.).
Followup of suppliers' business plans.
Management of supplier nominations and decision making with the BU; Confirm supplier ́s capacity, material availability, etc.
Maintenance of savings / inflation in the Purchasing system (Maps).
Support operational purchasing tasks (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, etc.)

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Engineering / Industrial Engineering or business science with relevant technical background (Master's degree preferred)
3 to 5 years of experience in the role or similar ones.
Experience on the job or within the automotive industry in a comparable position is advantageous
Good experience and knowledge in SAP and MS Office
Assertiveness and strong communication skills in handling and negotiating with the suppliers as well as interpersonal and crosscultural expertise
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language as well as Flexibility and high willingness to travel.
