Greenfield day-to-day logistics operations for Indirect Material MRO (Spare Parts, Consumables, Chemicals, PPE) and Supplier Quality Assurance, including Waste and Scrap Management. Managed all material flow (internal/external) for Assembly and Body in White / SKD, encompassing receiving, warehousing, inbound/outbound transport (IMT & Logistics Transport), Warehouse – Shipping Operations & Facilities, empty container return, lineside delivery, and spare part service (SAP). Ensured stringent compliance with AEO & C-TPAT, Incoterms, legal regulations, policies, and ISO/NOM/AEO/BMW Group standards, achieving zero major non-conformances in all internal/external audits. Optimized supply chain processes for 29,000 indirect and 5,000 direct items, achieving 99.98% inventory accuracy (including overseas stock) and 98% budget accuracy. Successfully introduced and managed 3PL partners / Tender Process & Negotiations (NSM / Waste and Scrap, Assembly, Body in White / SKD Plants), contributing to 0 line/plant downtime. Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) | San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Supplier Quality, Purchasing and Logistics Manager | 2013 – 2016
Managed and evaluated suppliers to meet utility high voltage standards, overseeing supplier selection, development, and audits. Directed the entire Supply Chain from project proposal to finished product shipments (Order to Deliver Process). Led Purchasing for Direct and Indirect Material negotiations / contracts, achieving 5% purchasing savings over the annual purchased parts cost through successful negotiations. Executed Lean Manufacturing Strategies in warehousing, resulting in a 15% total inventory cost reduction and a 90% reduction in inventory variations. Managed Inbound/Outbound Logistics, collaborating closely with Brokers and Customs for International Commerce, and oversaw Customer Service Representatives (CSR) for spare parts.

Led Logistics Planning, Design, Launch, and Start-Up for the new GM TRAX vehicle, including a second shift operation. Controlled and reported Program Milestones (quality valves, readiness reviews, layout meetings, manufacturing walls, MRDs, PPAP process support, red launch alerts). Developed program cost commitments for material with central containerization and logistics teams. Integrated GM GMS (Global Manufacturing System) principles related to Supply Chain, Quality (APQP, PPAP, 8D, 5 Why, PFMEA), and Operations.
