- The Application Support Engineer will research and resolve application issues that have been escalated from the L1 and L2 Support Teams.
- The Engineer will use logging and debugging tools to perform forensic analysis and identify the root cause of issues.
- The Engineer will assist the Development Team by reproducing issues and guiding them toward solutions.
- The Engineer will work on SaaS based cyber security products and will work with both SailPoint employees and external clients to mitigate customer reported issues
- Develop a deep understanding of a sophisticated SaaS architecture consisting of dozens of microservices
- Reproduce issues seen in the field to narrow down root cause
- Satisfy defined Response, Update and Resolution Service level targets for tickets which you are assigned
- At least 3+ years of experience in a Level 2 Support role or equivalent
- Ability to read object-oriented code and script in Java , Python, Ruby or other relevant languages
- Experience working with a microservices architecture
- Knowledge of data-driven development methodologies
- Passion and expertise working with engineering, product, and support teams
- Knowledge of current development strategies and trends across web and mobile platforms
- Familiarity with REST API, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, OAuth 2.0, Microservice Architecture Patterns
- Experience with debugging tool Kibana or Open Search in the ELK stack
- Creative problem solving
