    As an Automation Engineer you will support the customer development teams and applying process standards during development, ensure development and deployment of process standards, design checklist and guidelines, best practices. Support programs for process issues.

    Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, implement and maintain industrial automation control systems.
  • PLCs Programming
  • System integrations
  • Simultaneous Engineering
  • Ensure that checklists and guidelines for product design are applied.
  • Validate technology choices.
  • Ensure product manufacturability.
  • Process development
  • Define process solutions and ensure that process standards are applied.
  • Follow-up prototypes build (when applicable)
  • Identify available capacity.
  • Release tooling and equipment specification
  • Tooling and equipment procurement
  • Support the purchasing organization during suppliers' selections and negotiation.
  • Follow-up tooling and equipment at suppliers
  • Manage tooling and equipment reception.
  • Responsible for networking in his/her perimeter

    • Key requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Automotive or metal mechanic industry
  • Proven technical skills on process and product, in his/her field of competencies (automation and control)
  • PCLs, HMI, and vision system experience (Siemens, Keyence, Cognex, Atlas CopCo, etc.)
  • Experience in smart manufacturing, industry 4.0
  • Strong communication skills, ability to structure and capitalize know-how.
  • Networking capabilities.
  • International mindset.
  • Fluent English required.
