-General summary

The supplier quality coordinator is responsible to oversee all the quality activities related to the supplier base for production parts that will be manufactured by the Mexican supplier network.

Experience and education
B.S. Degree in Engineering.

Knowledge, skills and certifications

Experience in multicultural environment.

Bilingual English/Spanish

Strong problem solving.

Strong communication skills

Main tasks and responsibilities

Quality audits are being done while using a common technique and reference base (standard questionnaire and methodology).

PPAP list of parts to process is being followed and priorities are well addressed.

Make sure that corrective actions (CAR) are close in a timely manner, with permanent solutions.


Potential HIS (High Impact Supplier) are well identified through performance evaluation and action plan is elaborated and followed by SQE (and SDE when applicable).

Support the SQE team for SAP transaction and standardization of processes within sites.

Be a member of the GSQ (Global Supplier Quality) team and participates to improvement projects.

Insure continues training in the SQE group.


Is responsible to update the monthly PPM report; complete the analysis of the data presents the report to the management.

Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the department supervisor.

Performs activities related to safety.


Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their role in relation to the standard ISO9001: 2015.

Comply with safety rules according to the function.

Comply in time planned trainings related to Quality and Training.

Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
