    Accounting Finance Analyst

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the preparation of the company's annual budget and compare with actual figures on a weekly basis for accuracy.
    • Analyze variations from expected financial outcomes.
    • Monitor KPIs and Waterfalls monthly.
    • Prepare required Copeland reports such as Excess & Obsolete Inventory, and Physical Inventory Reconciliation.
    • Coordinate and oversee all tasks related to the company's Physical Inventory process.
    • Enter journal entries into the accounting system and review them.
    • Upload Financial statements in HFM.
    • Review general accounting tasks for US and Mexican Ledgers, assist in the month-end close process, compile corporate reports, and aid the controller in various activities.
    • Perform reconciliations of inventory and other balance sheet accounts.
    • Responsible for closing Inventory, Purchasing, eAM, and AR modules of Oracle on a monthly basis.
    • Support the preparation of the company's financial statements.
    • Establish and enforce internal control accounting policies and procedures.
    • Analyze and contribute to projects aimed at enhancing profits, operations, and reducing expenses.
    • Contribute to special projects such as New system implementation and requests from corporate management.
    • Ensure accuracy in cost allocation, salaries, and indirect expenses.
    • Monitor productivity and cost per unit by line, as well as Efficiency Variances.

      • Requirements:

      • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration, or a related field.
      • - years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Cost Accounting in a Maquiladora setting.
      • Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
      • Familiarity with Oracle is required.
