    The Ops Accounting Analyst 1 is a trainee professional role. Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Makes evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own job.

    Responsibilities:

    • Updates cash and sales book; post general ledger and accounting entries for an Operations unit. Prepares financial reports and performs proofs of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
    • Maintains statistics on volume variation by product for an operational unit.
    • Makes evaluative judgments based on analysis of factual information.
    • Resolves issues by identifying and selecting solutions by applying acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents.
    • Communicates with diverse audiences through the exchange of information in a concise and logical manner.
    • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

    Qualifications:

    • Basic experience in an accounting role.

    Education:

    • Bachelors degree

    Este puesto será el encargado de generar reportes de las aplicaciones clave (P2P) para identificar riesgos asociados en el proceso de pagos a proveedores, órdenes de compra y pagos de reembolsos de viajes y gastos que generen los empleados.

    Responsabilidades clave:

    • Asociarse con el equipo y sus estrategias a través de la provisión de análisis e interpretación financiera, particularmente en lo que se refiere al gasto de los proveedores con los negocios y funciones de Cuentas por Pagar.
    • Implementar soluciones y herramientas de análisis en MS Excel y MS Access que permitirán analizar, resumir y reportar datos en tablas, cuadros y gráficos.
    • Apoyar la implementación de iniciativas para mejorar los procesos existentes y aportar eficiencia a los procedimientos y herramientas.
    • Completar todas las tareas relacionadas con la actividad de la organización pero que no se detallan en la descripción actual del puesto, a cargo del gerente directo, el supervisor o el jefe funcional.
    • Ayudar a capacitar a los usuarios de correr reportes como Self Service de los sistemas

    Conocimiento/Experiencia:

    • Familiarizado con el sistema P2P/Oracle
    • De 1 a 3 años de experiencia financiera y analítica relevante
    • Conocimientos avanzados de MS Excel
    • Multitarea y gestión del tiempo
    • Capacidad para trabajar bajo precisión en un entorno dinámico y acelerado con plazos ajustados
    • Fuerte comunicación verbal, escrita y habilidades interpersonales
    • Orientación al servicio al cliente y habilidades de liderazgo/influencia
    • Capacidad para trabajar de una manera altamente organizada y eficiente con un enfoque en el detalle y la precisión
    • Licenciatura o equivalente
    • El inglés avanzado es una ventaja
    • Las buenas habilidades de priorización y la gestión del tiempo son imprescindibles
    • Conocimientos y habilidades contables y en compras
    • Funciona bien bajo presión en el entorno de cuentas por pagar
    • Fuertes habilidades analíticas
    • Habilidades de MS Access y conocimiento de las herramientas de OneDrive/Teams, Power BI y Power Query, es un plus
    • Conocimiento de conceptos y herramientas de Big Data (Tableau, SQL)
    • Atención a los detalles
