We are looking for a Buyer to work with us in C.d Sahagun,Hidalgo,Mexico.

Responsabilities


Supplier relationship:

  • Support global supplier panel relationship
  • Manage specific supplier panel relationship (negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier QCDT performances)
  • Monitor day to day suppliers performances and issues
  • Management of initial issues before escalation to line manage
  • Respect Alstom code of ethics and guidelines

Commodity support on site:

  • Consolidation of commodity needs, inputs
  • Active participation to commodity strategy and panel elaboration
  • Provide imputes to build differentiation
  • Support of Commodity Manager in tender phase
  • Represent the commodities towards projects, platforms and solutions.
  • Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving
Required Profile

  • Metallurgical Engineer and mechanical Engineer with 2 years of experience in Purchasing
  • Experience buying mechanical parts
  • Fluent English (mandatory)
  • Strong interpersonal skills (leadership, ability to convince), strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Negotiation,Team work, willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment
