We are looking for a Buyer to work with us in C.d Sahagun,Hidalgo,Mexico.

Responsabilities

Supplier relationship:

Support global supplier panel relationship
Manage specific supplier panel relationship (negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier QCDT performances)
Monitor day to day suppliers performances and issues
Management of initial issues before escalation to line manage
Respect Alstom code of ethics and guidelines

Commodity support on site:

Consolidation of commodity needs, inputs
Active participation to commodity strategy and panel elaboration
Provide imputes to build differentiation
Support of Commodity Manager in tender phase
Represent the commodities towards projects, platforms and solutions.
Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving

Required Profile

Metallurgical Engineer and mechanical Engineer with 2 years of experience in Purchasing
Experience buying mechanical parts
Fluent English (mandatory)
Strong interpersonal skills (leadership, ability to convince), strong written and verbal communication skills
Negotiation,Team work, willingness to take initiative.
Ability to exercise independent judgment
