- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanic or Mechatronic Engineer or other related field of study preferred.
- 5+ years of Tool design/mechanic design experience with the use of CAD software. CREO PTC preferred.
- Strong knowledge in materials and heat treatment processes for stamping dies.
- 5+ years in cold stamping process, process plan developments and tunning
- 5+ years of experience with SAP for CAD documents, BOM, MM, ECM
- Strong technical knowledge in GD&T
- Advanced English is a must
- Experience on the automotive industry preferably
- Ability to manage a team for design projects
- High communication and organization skills
- Leads a tool design group with different skills to achieve internal goals
- Sets up regular design meetings to provide guidance and reviews on tooling processes such as design, manufacture, optimization, rework and repair.
- Drives and ensures equity in the workload within the team.
- Establishes good relations with internal and external partners.
- Provides support so the team meats goals and KPI's expectations
- Performs analysis to solve problems related to the performance of the tools
