- Manage complex client projects, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are met.
- Define the range of services provided to the client and assign roles within the client team.
- Supervise multiple project managers to ensure the team stays on budget, meets deadlines, and delivers work up to client expectations.
- Address and resolve unique and challenging issues regarding client deliverables.
- Lead the development of advanced solution designs for clients.
- Provide investment guidance to various institutional clients on setting investment goals, forming investment policies, selecting investment managers, continuously monitoring investment markets and client portfolios, managing and mitigating risks, and adjusting investment strategies as necessary.
- Develop and assess investment strategies and their implications for large clients in the market.- Provide leadership and expertise to the team in Mexico.
- Take initiatives to expand the Investment Consulting business and Mercer's broader services accordingly.
- Establish and cultivate a portfolio of retained clients and project relationships through pitching new business ideas, responding to requests for proposals, and collaborating with colleagues, both internally and across different lines of business.
- Maintain a visible presence in the industry by participating in public speaking events, professional societies, and contributing articles to relevant trade publications.Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related business field, with substantial quantitative and analytical coursework.
- Over 10 years of experience in Investment consulting, demonstrating a track record of selling and delivering investment consulting services to senior executives.
- CIPM / CFA and AMIB Figura 3 certifications.- Proficient in mathematical and financial concepts.
- Profound understanding of the pensions industry, endowments, markets, investment managers, and applicable regulations.
- Familiar with specialized tools used in the practice.
- Expertise in various investment products and services.
- Capable of consulting on all investment market products and advising clients on suitable choices based on their needs.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects effectively and delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
- Strong analytical skills, strategic mindset, excellent client-facing abilities, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in project leadership and managing client expectations.- Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally unpredictable work environment.
- Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory.

Role of Manager:
AMGB has implemented a global target operating model focusing on Investment Restrictions, which involves global ownership and oversight, a central team of Investment Restrictions Experts, and a role within the GSC in Mexico to support the local Investment Restrictions team with a specific emphasis on regulatory and investment compliance responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of Investment Restrictions specialists located in AMUS to carry out tasks effectively.
- Our client is seeking a Senior Associate who can actively participate in all facets of the investment infrastructure sector across Latin America. Additionally, they provide one-on-one consulting sessions and other Customer Enablement services such as Office Hours for appointment-based consulting for up to 20 sessions.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in IT implementation and 2+ years in software consulting.
