Global Ocean Freight Technology Analyst (L07)

Responsibilities:


Responsibilities:

  • Manage master and transactional data quality for the ocean freight visibility platform and ocean shipment dashboards
  • Montior, review, and document global sector and I/E team adherence to data quality standards for ocean platform
  • Insure alignment of master data standards for ocean platform with that of broader I/E (C&T Doc etc.)
  • Insure compliance to cyber security and other PEP IT requirements for the ocean visibility platform
  • Manage IT contract deliverables for the Global visibility solution and contract renewal details
  • Maintain visibility platform access, admin, and other support to insure access, compliance, and effectiveness
  • Support automation solutions to upload container information and other data to the platform for all sectors by working closely with Ocean Freight Insight Analyst, Tracking Associate, and Ocean Freight Performance Management Specialist
  • Identify / implement capacity planning and management tools in support of the Ocean Excellence/Procurement teams
  • Establish master data standards in partnership w/ the ocean freight tracking associate
  • Build partnership with visibility platform provider for new enhancements and upgrades
  • Support implementation of continuous improvement practices and goals related to ocean freight visbility
  • Drive excellence and improve visibility of ocean shipments through use of digital tools and platforms
  • Develop and maintain visibility platform SME knowledge and training/ tech support to sectors and I/E users

Qualifications:

Qualifications / Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in IT Management, Business Management, Information Systems,or applicable qualification
  • 13 years in IT, Data, or Business Information Systems domain
  • Experience with using supply chain or logistics visibility platforms and tools to drive proactive management of transportation activities
  • Passionate about data management, emerging technologies, and business information systems
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity and adapt quickly to a changing environment
  • Ability to positively influence teams outside of direct responsibility and across multiple business units
  • Capable of working in a remote work group and being managed by a remote manager
  • Utilize technical/functional knowledge that creates opportunities and solves business problems
  • Ability to identify business issues and escalate in a timely fashion
  • Selfstarter with attention to detail and experience leading multiple teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively across multifunctional, sector, and business teams
  • Global Acumen able to understand and balance unique market requirements while driving solutions and results centrally
  • Experience working on international transportation,and ocean freight.
  • Experience working with supply chain information systems and leading ocean visibility platforms
  • Ability to effectively interact and build a favorable business relationship with all carriers, vendors and customers
  • Ability to operate and flourish in a fast paced, agile, business start up environment
