- Develop 3D models for grade surface, roads, paving, and drainage utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D Software and determine earth work volumes and calculations as required
- Works independently and collaboratively to develop complex drawings utilizing full functionality of the software
- Provides solutions to complex problems utilizing industry and company standards
- Capable of leading a team to complete design / tasks in an efficient and timely manner
- Coordinate with multiple disciplines to develop accurate models and construction documents
- Reviews and Check the work of other designers
- Communicates effectively with supervisor and members of immediate department.
- Bachelor's degree in topography and geodesic or Technical degree in drafting, construction, designing or similar.
- More than 5 years of experience in a civil design position.
- Strong understanding of topography, geodesic construction, and drafting principles
- Deep knowledge in materials. Experience with site civil design, storm water systems, drainage systems, earth works, grading and roads/paving. Familiarity with latest national and design codes (SEMARNAT, CONAGUA, SCT, NOM ́s, RCDF & NTC, AASHTO, PIP, etc.)
- Read and understand construction documents Experience in multiple design software (AutoCad Civil 3D, Bentley Inroads, Autodesk Revit & Navisworks, Bentley SmartPlant, Global Mapper, etc..) AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is mandatory.
- Intermediate - Advanced English is a must.
