    As a Transmission Engineer, you will work in a team environment and be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical transmission and distribution systems, adhering to all safety and environmental policies, and coordinating with various stakeholders. You will have access to cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art equipment that helps achieve project goals efficiently.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with project teams to deliver power transmission projects that meet client expectations, budget, and schedule
    • Prepare civil or electrical design drawings to develop detailed transmission line plans and profiles
    • Perform necessary calculations and prepare transmission line construction or installation specifications
    • Conduct site visits and assessments to ensure the quality of the design and construction work performed by contractors
    • Collaborate with other Kiewit teams to complete the project, including procurement, estimating, and construction
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Kiewit's safety standards
    • Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide engineering support and recommend solutions to challenges

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
    • +5 years of experience working on power transmission projects
    • Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and engineering-related software
    • English Proficient C1
    • Willingness to travel and work on job sites, which may include long hours and weekends
    • Knowledge of local and national safety regulations and standards
