- Partner with other functional team members to ensure products and services are delivered to customers defect free.
- Provide coaching and feedback to less experienced engineers and technicians.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, MIS or related degree.
- 5 - 8 years of experience in design or design automation.

About the Role
The Engineer II is responsible for development products, tools, fixtures, equipment, and industrial processes. This position works closely with product engineering, product management, and new product development teams to ensure products are adequately and accurately designed for manufacturing team.
Watlow is a global organization with several sites in the United States and international. Watlow's primary CAD systems are Solidworks, Solidworks Electrical and various CAM programs, Solidworks PDM, and Aras Innovator PLM.
Candidates should have strong technical experience using Solidworks. Working within our constructive culture as an Engineer II you will advance and develop your autonomy, mastery, and purpose, through coaching and leadership provided by your team leader.
Your Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Desired Qualifications:
Understanding and application of lean product development tools and methods
Experience working with suppliers to drive corrective actions.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and tools
Experience developing Product Control Plans and developing complex testing and inspection methods.
Work Well within Team Environment and can lead project teams formally or informally.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Able to be work under immediate supervision of a more experienced employees or manager and directly or indirectly lead less experienced employees.
Demonstrated ability to use advanced problem-solving tools .
