Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • Lead and manage goods E2E inbound processes from factory to distribution center with main responsibility of in country import & customs activities to ensure stock availability for on-time in-full deliveries to serve our business channels optimizing resources assigned to perform operations
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Followup of the date of factory exit of the products to guarantee the arrival in time to the customs office.
  • Supervise the customs clearance process to ensure timely delivery to the warehouse.
  • Definition and planning of daily inbound volume at the distribution centers.
  • Follow the integrity of the documentation with the accounting and treasury departments to pay taxes and costs as necessary.
  • Represent the company before the customs authorities as necessary.
  • Control product labeling to comply with local legal requirements.
  • To gather and review the necessary import documents to avoid any delays on the custom process.
  • Ensure approved Import licenses before cargo arrives.
  • To supervise the customs clearance process to ensure on time delivery to the warehouse.
  • To follow documentation integrity with the accounting and treasury departments to pay taxes and costs as needed.
  • To represent the company with Customs authorities as necessary.
  • To control goods' labeling to comply with local legal requirements.
  • Responsible of footwear, têxtile, and accessories classification processes.
  • Coordinate customs brokers according to business priorities.
  • Set KPIs to evaluate Customs Brokers Performance
  • Participation in meetings with Purchasing, Availability and OF.
  • Keep SAP deliveries dates updated.
  • Responsible for OEA certification and maintenance
  • Responsibility of approval of all inbound invoices in time
  • Coordination of all direct shipment shipments in their markets from inbound until creation of invoices
  • Calculation of transport costs inside the air freight authorization process
  • Monitoring of airfreight and sea air freight shipments in terms of transport lead time
  • Set up of personal targets and targets Guidelines.
  • Frequent evaluation of the team and delivery of feedback
  • Key Relationships:
  • Forwarder and Logistic partners
  • Regional & Global Contacts (Purchasing, Customs, Internal Control, Order Fulfilment, Inventory management, Accounting, Sales, Demand Planning, Customer Service.)
  • FLM (First Line)

  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • University degree or equivalent education required
