Supplier Quality Engineer for operations in JIT (Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila)

As a Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for Maintain a quality management system in the process, through the definition of acceptance and rejection; analysis and product testing for correct decision making in order to meet the requirements of our customers and objectives of the Plant; following the rules and policies of both the Quality Management System and internal plant Ramos as Lear's corporate.


YOUR TASK WILL BE

  • Review, analyze and provide a quick and effective solution to both internal and external quality problems, reported by
- residents or the client.

  • Personal administration under your responsibility, improve the personnel inspection system.
  • Carry out, analyze and improve information and/or internal and external quality indicators (Lear/customer).
  • Ensure compliance with goals/indicators of the plant and the quality system.
  • Participate and/or actively lead to reduce quality costs, improve process quality.
  • Develop, control, implement and improve the Control Plan, Quality SWI, Quality Alerts, Visual aids, procedures or other documents inherent to the quality system.
  • Implement corrective actions in process audits.
  • Validate engineering changes (assuring quality).
  • Carry out process audits to prevent system failures.
  • Stop the production process in case of nonconforming material or according to the quality system.
  • Actively participate in compliance and monitoring of the IATF standard.
  • Responsible for GCA audits, Process (Disciplines).
  • Has the authority to stop the line in case of noncompliance with the client's requirements.
  • Participate in the quality, environment, health and safety systems.
  • Carry out other activities as assigned.

  • Preventive Actions with a multidisciplinary team.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLL YOU WILL NEED

  • Engineering and/or equivalent
  • Leadership, proactive, focused on results.
  • 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Core Tools, troubleshooting, customer requirements
  • IATF, GD&T, AIAG, CQI15 standards, Component assembly knowledge / garment sewing / metalmechanics preferably.
  • Fluent English
