About JumpCloud
**About The Role: JumpCloud is looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join one of our close-knit Cloud Directory teams, helping to expand our open directory platform.


You will have the opportunity to play an important role in shaping the success of this team's outcomes as it delivers customer value across the breadth of our Cloud Directory services.

This team's charter is to provide the necessary features for organizations to manage the lifecycle of a user within the JumpCloud ecosystem along with any downstream and upstream system.


What you'll be doing:


  • Participate in feature implementation through individual contributions as part of a Scrum team.
  • Deliver high quality software by collaborating closely with Quality engineers.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, architects and UX on the team to deliver incremental value to our customers.
  • Partner with Architects and CloudOps to help make key technology decisions that ensure our designs are highly available, scalable and performant.
  • Help the team and organization live by our core values: building connections, thinking big and getting 1% better every day.

We're looking for:


  • 4+ years of enterprise software development experience in a variety of languages. JumpCloud currently uses Go, , Python and
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines to build, test and deploy to environments
  • Knowledge of BDD testing methodologies and how to incorporate them into the SDLC process
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills

  • JumpCloud is committed to being Remote First, meaning that you are able to work remotely within the country noted in the Job Description.
This role is remote in the country of Mexico. You must be located in and authorized to work in Mexico to be considered for this role.
