    About The Role

    We are looking for a Tax Analyst that provides accurate Tax Advisory and Transfer Pricing to the different Business Units of Nubank in Mexico.

    This Position Will Be Responsible For The Following Activities

    • Assist with research on various tax discoveries and make appropriate recommendations from a tax perspective. This includes working closely with stakeholders to understand the tax impact of business operations and ensure that tax needs are identified, considered and communicated. Once the tax discovery is created, supporting the needs of its implementation will be required on this position.
    • Lead research and implementation of new investments and products for Nu Mexico from a tax perspective.
    • Elaboration of internal memorandums supporting tax positions of the company.
    • Support the different BUs with any changes in the Tax Laws that would affect the tax situation of Nubank in Mexico.
    • Ensure the Transfer Pricing compliance for Nu Mexico related to the obligations triggered due to different service transactions within the Group, mainly executing activities such as reviewing intercompany transactions, transfer pricing studies, and local and master filings.

    Basic Qualifications

    The candidate must comply with the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
    • 3+ years of experience in taxes.
    • Intermediate- advanced English is a must.
    • Excellent written and communication skills.
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc).

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous Big 4 experience (EY, PWC, Deloitte, KPMG) preparing tax opinions and technical memorandums.
    • Previous experience working with financial entities or strong knowledge in the Financial Industry.
    • Master Degree in Taxes or Finance.
