The Supply Chain Manager is the main point of contact for all our partners in the supply chain. Responsible for management of logistic vendors -3PLs and freight suppliers
- to ensure they comply with AbbVie guidelines and standards. Key role on the S&OP process, working closely with Sales, market Access and FP&A team to maximize the chances of achieving AbbVie's financial and strategic goals.


Major Responsibilities:


  • Liaison between global operations teams and Commercial affiliate to align overall supply and operations strategy.
  • Daily stock and sales monitoring to identify risks of stockout for immediate action for remediation. Primary contact for Commercial and Finance team to ensure product availability and status.
  • Support S&OP process delivering information or stock status, plan arrivals and short dated product risks.
  • Set up accordingly product master data parameters in SAP and planning systems.
  • Constantly monitor the sales forecast vs. actual sales, to avoid any increase in the volume resulting in a stock out situation.
  • Coordinate onboarding of new 3PL(s) (e.g., systems integration, scenario testing, process and policy training, Service Level Agreement reviews).
  • Partner with 3PL(s) & to find ways to improve Warehousing and Distribution processes to improve service levels to internal and external customers, and capture and share local practices with the Distribution and Logistics CoE.
  • Perform activities in line with global and local financial policies, review on a regular basis inbound delivery, outbound deliveries (returned goods), inventory by product and resolve discrepancies and returns.
  • Review upcoming volumes, product launches and future capacity needs.
  • Control and understand all Logistics systems (parameters, costs, restrictions) and optimization tools.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate Technical or Business Discipline is required.
  • 57 years of Logistics/Supply chain experience
  • Proficient in English: advance
  • Customer focus
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Individual must be selfmotivated with great followup skills and be able to work independently.
