    DNV, the independent expert in assurance and risk management, is seeking a Senior Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Consultant within our Assurance Services department in DNV Mexico to provide advisory, assessment, and verification on our ESG services portfolio.

    As a member of our dedicated ESG team, you will work with customers struggling with the challenges of delivering on climate and broader sustainability expectations. You will be a trusted advisor, helping them make critical strategic decisions equitably, transparently, and profitably.

    This position will report to our DNV office in Mexico.

    What Youll Do

    • Support technically our strategic goals and ambitions for Mexico's growth in ESG services portfolio, working on technical structure and resources qualification
    • As a senior consultant, work directly on the implementation of carbon frameworks and standards, supporting reporting and disclosure of customer
    • Creating and delivering carbon reduction strategies, including policy and procedures
    • Providing research, analysis, and advisory insight and support to our customers or for internal business development purposes
    • Techniques for identifying and interacting with stakeholders
    • Support and undertake site visits to client sites and offices

    What Is Required

    • Bachelors degree in a related field, Environmental, or administration degree preferred
    • A minimum of five years of experience in the field
    • Demonstrable technical experience (ideally consultancy experience) within the sustainability and ESG space
    • Extensive experience in assurance process, mainly for sustainability reporting and ESG-linked disclosure processes
    • Depp knowledge of sustainable development goals, frameworks, and standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Integrated Reporting
    • Excellent report writing, oral communication, and presentation skills
    • English and Spanish language skills (both in writing and speaking) (plus native Spanish)
    • Flexible attitude to working in a fast-paced and multidisciplinary environment
    • Ability to collaborate with others, plan and prioritize activities, and deliver against competing/tight deadlines
    • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, domestic and international. Driver's license required
