What you will do:


As Associate Manager Product Transfer - New Product Introduction you will own defined project elements across multiple projects and have responsibility for managing other project managers & engineers tasked with the effective delivery of product transfer projects.

You will have responsibility for the project, people management and the technical assessment of all assigned projects elements including associated timelines, quality requirements within budgetary constraints.


Responsibilities:


  • Be an effective partner across all functions within divisional and GQO organizations to deliver associated product transfers in line with divisional and Operational Innovation (OI) pipelines
  • Provide clear direction on projects and define prioritizations to the project management team for all product transfers
  • Successfully determine project scope, scale, resource & financial requirements etc. for each product transfers
  • Be accountable for capital & expense budgets related to project scope
  • Critically assess product transfer charters & financial plans to extrapolate key deliverables such as staffing, technical challenges resolution, projected savings and supply requirements
  • Link with broader OI team on common product transfer issues and resolutions
  • Partner with HR in identifying, acquiring top talent while developing and retaining talent within the team
  • Provide direction to the team in complex or difficult situations, remove obstacles, assign appropriate resources and interface with other functions to assist with issue resolution
  • Establish priorities imparting a sense of urgency and importance to effectively deliver product transfers per quality, cost and time constraints
  • Sets overall group goals and priorities and evaluates subordinate's performance based on those goals/priorities

What you need:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related business discipline required
  • 6+ years' experience in technical and/or project management roles required
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and presentation skills essential required
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management and engineering experience in production, process development or R&D, ideally in a strongly regulatory environment required
  • Experience of GD&T, process mapping, statistical methods and process/ product validations highly preferred
