    Role and Responsibilities

    Track project timelines to plan for regular reviews and ensure client deliverables are ready on time

    P erform or review various NERC Compliance studies: FAC-008, PRC-005, PRC-019, PRC-024, PRC-025, PRC-026, PRC-027, MOD-025, and MOD-032.

    Perform high level bulk power system studies using various power system software such as PSS/e, PSCAD, Aspen, and PSLF.

    Review engineering studies for new and emerging technologies such as inverters, or Bulk Energy Storage Systems, which may require interaction with equipment vendors to complete the analyses.

    Process, generate and maintain data as required for other engineering related studies.

    Take responsibility for the timely completion of projects assigned while meeting all project quality and budget objectives .

    Support client calls as necessary

    Required Qualification & Education

    Minimum 2 years renewable energy industry experience in power systems engineering, NERC compliance engineering, or engineering operations roles

    Experience Required:

    2 + years' work experience in NERC Compliance

    Experience Preferred

    2 + years actively supporting a Generator Owner compliance program

    Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications Preferred

    Technical knowledge of power systems operations and NERC Reliability Standards

    Company/Industry Related Knowledge

    Excellent organizational and planning skills

    Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

    Strong interpersonal skills

    Additional knowledge of ERCOT, CAISO, and other ISO/RTO markets, State Public Utilities Commissions, and IA/PAA operational requirements desirable
