    The Network Engineering team at Zillow Group empowers "Zillow 2.0" by designing and building resilient connectivity solutions for all employees and products We apply software engineering principles to create consumable or self-service solutions to connect scalable and highly available production microservices. The team plays a pivotal role in the company's success by making sure information is delivered quickly, securely, and efficiently with no interruptions.

    This team is part of the greater Platform Infrastructure Engineering and works closely with Software Development Engineers while supporting all users and brands. Your work with us will be highly visible throughout Zillow Group and have a significant impact on all parts of the business.

    About the role

    This role is responsible for driving forward the cloud network architecture and service connectivity across Zillow Group. The successful candidate must demonstrate deep expertise in networking, cloud infrastructure, and microservice connectivity.

    Infrastructure-as-code, cloud network architecture, and leadership are central to this role to effectively and efficiently deploy solutions which affect the entire company and the external customer experience.

    As a Senior Network Engineer, you will:

  • Design multi-region, multi-cloud network automation and services to increase autonomy
  • Implement customer-friendly, scalable connectivity solutions
  • Utilize Infrastructure-as-a-Code for seamless cloud network deployment and management
  • Establish secure controls and automation for public cloud infrastructure while fostering partnerships to optimize our products and services
  • Foster collaboration with stakeholders for timely and cost effective solutions
  • Shape operational standards and design patterns while mentoring team members

  • Utilizar Infrastructure-as-a-Code para el despliegue y la gestión de redes en la nube sin fisuras
  • Establecer controles seguros y automatización para la infraestructura de nube pública al tiempo que se fomentan las asociaciones para optimizar nuestros productos y servicios
  • Fomentar la colaboración con las partes interesadas para obtener soluciones oportunas y rentables
  • Dar forma a las normas operativas y a los patrones de diseño al tiempo que se tutela a los miembros del equipo

    • This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.

    In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.

    Who you are

  • Possess over 8+ years of experience in technology and network engineering/architecture in a large enterprise environment
  • Have a strong background in cloud network solutions with leading public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Are fluent in Infrastructure-as-Code, container platforms, and networking protocols
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts
  • Experience managing cloud security complexities
  • Poseer más de 8 años de experiencia en tecnología e ingeniería/arquitectura de redes en un entorno de gran empresa
