    Role and Responsibilities

    The candidate will be part of a cross functional team comprised of internal team members whose objective is to support management of client's renewable energy assets and fulfillment of contractual compliance obligations associated with those assets. Support optimization of all portfolios and execute completion of tasks that have been assigned to you. Responsibilities include:

    • Learn the commercial, contractual, regulatory, and reporting obligations of an operating portfolio of renewable energy assets (solar, wind, BESS), and execute tasks to ensure portfolio compliance with all project agreements
    • Assist Portfolio Manager and other team members in tracking and fulfilling on-going tasks and deliverables; use Lens platform to drive workflow
    • Support the development and preparation of performance and financial reports for the operating projects.
    • Coordinate with the Technical Asset Management team and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) personnel on the performance and operations of the projects
    • Track project performance, weather, and operational data for operating projects through event tickets and O & M work orders. Understand and make use of the data in the context of supporting the optimization of projects and portfolios
    • Manage document administration and data rooms for project specific documents
    • Coordinate, compile and submit FERC, EIA and other regulatory compliance obligations with support of internal team members and 3rd parties.
    • Coordinate with the Financial Asset Management team and assist in billing and revenue tracking, invoice tracking, SREC administration, settlements and other financial deliverables.
    • Effectively manage relationships with key project stakeholders, including project owner & investors, power offtakers, O&M providers, internal cross functional team members and multiple external 3 rd parties.
    • Work in Lens to track operations, contract administration, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting.
    • Organize meeting agendas, both internal and with clients; lead meetings with O & M providers, other counter parties or stakeholders and internal cross functional teams as needed.
    • Provide excellent internal and external customer service
    • Additional duties as assigned.

    Preferred Experience

    • At least 1+ years working with operating renewable energy assets: solar, wind or BESS
    • Familiarity with solar PV, wind or BESS equipment and system design
    • Familiarity with C & I and utility-scale renewable energy projects. Familiarity with Community Solar management
    • Business writing experience
    • Experience in a service provider environment
    • Familiarity with commercial renewable energy contracts
    • Experience with data analysis, reporting and presentation
    • Familiarity with asset management software systems & third-party monitoring platforms
    • Experience working for a U.S based company is preferred.

    Required Qualification & Education

    • 1+ years renewable energy industry experience in asset management or operations. Or equivalent educational experience in renewable energy
    • BS in Business Administration, Energy Studies, Environmental Studies, Engineering, or related field
    • Familiarity with grid-tied photovoltaic, wind or BESS system design, operation, and management
    • Proficient in both written and verbal English communication.
    Renewable Energy Industry knowledge in the following areas:
    • Project performance data analysis, cost benefit analyses, project reporting and presentation
    • Team player: Acts as team player and is effective at using interpersonal connections and customer service skills to achieve team goals. Candidate is proactive in supporting the PM and the team and is willing to grow into having more responsibilities.
    • Oral /written communication: Listens carefully and speaks clearly and professionally in all situations. Possesses business interpersonal skills and customer service skills. Ability to read, interpret and extract critical information from various types of contracts. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Planning / Organization: Ability to take ownership of tasks and pursue to completion. Plans and organizes meetings and communications with clients and other key external or internal stakeholders.
    • Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent interruptions, changes, delays or unexpected events.
    • Accountability: Understands personal accountability for overall portfolio success.
    • Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Gathers, reviews and assesses information appropriately.
    • Reporting: Ability to analyze data and create reports
    • Passion: Demonstrates passion to learn in a rapidly growing often unstructured environment. Always looking to learn, grow and expand their knowledge.
    • Technology and base knowledge: Skilled in the use of Microsoft products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project. Ability to understand basic accounting and budget management.
    • English Language - Must be fluent in both verbal and written English Communication
    • Basic business writing skills
    • Understanding of renewable energy commercial contracts
