To support The LEGO Group with consistent, timely and reliable Payroll processes and ensure efficient payroll maintenance, validation & compliance set up.


Main Challenges:

  • To be part of establishing a Payroll department with a great working environment and where quality, learning and performance are keystones for the BSO covering LATAM.
  • To form new collaborative relationship with collaborators and thereby ensure sustainable implementation of the global processes in Payroll


Coping with an exciting and constantly changing environment that includes various ways of working and cultural diversity among team members.

As Manager Specialist, you are responsible for delivering a consistent service to all the customers of the BSO. This means to meet the customers' expectations and provide them with a top professional service, incorporating the LEGO values.

  • Manage execution and control of payroll processes for Mexican and Brazilian Company Codes in a timely, efficient and accurate manner, including:
  • Bi weekly and special Payrolls (Saving Fund, Christmas Bonus, etc.) for 5,300 employees.
  • Reconciliations (Payroll vs GL, Payroll vs Tax)
  • Guarantee compliance with all regulations (Social Security, INFONAVIT, Employment Taxes, Pension Plan)


Supervise and validate all payroll processes detecting deficiencies and errors and using a continuos improvement mindset to avoid similar issues.

The Manager Specialist plays an important role in establishing a sustainable Payroll department in the BSO.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor's degree in accountability or Administration.
- +10 years of relevant working experience in Payroll, Labor Relations, HR.

  • Strong experience in Mexican Payroll Taxes.
  • Experience in SUA, IDSE, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, Social Security Risk Premium.
  • Good experience coaching Payroll Teams.
  • Advance Excel skills.
  • Experience reviewing reports to be provided to internal or external users, including auditors.
  • Personal skills
  • Analytical, detail and highquality oriented
  • Be robust, resilient and ability to embrace changes
  • A proactive mind with a cando attitude.


Personal drive and initiative, excellent collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with assigned business areas or other key stakeholders.


  • Experience in Brazil Payroll Calculation.
  • Experience Managing Payroll Vendors
  • Skilled in working with a Payroll ERP (SAP)
  • Experience with Workday
