    OU VIS and Packaging Design Senior Manager's main responsibilities:
    • Develop brand identity systems and packaging design for local or specified regional brands (where LATAM takes the lead).
    • Support the development of brand identity systems and pack design for global brands when necessary;
    • Create design strategies that resonate with consumers/shoppers, to boost transactions and consumer interest on both physical and digital shelves;
    • Apply analytical and creative thinking to reinforce the influence of iconic brands through visual identity systems and packaging;
    • Ensure visual identity systems include clear guidelines, ample modularity, and detailed instructions for seamless application across all brand interactions;
    • Suggest genuine, exclusive, and innovative pack design solutions to set apart and fortify the brand on physical and digital shelves;
    • Collaborate with other stakeholders to brainstorm how to implement visual identity systems throughout the consumer journey and shopper paths (both online and offline), creating coherent and memorable experiences;
    • Draft a design brief and guide the design direction with external agencies to develop remarkable VIS and packaging solutions, tailored for maximum effectiveness across variations and SKUs.
    Qualifications & Requirements:
    • Extensive Creative Development and Design Experience;
    • Direct experience in logo design, graphics, packaging, art direction, and branding;
    • Preferably with experience working directly with design agencies;
    • Experience in content development is a plus;
    • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional and cross-geographical teams is advantageous.
    Work Focus:
    • Ability to spearhead brand VIS and packaging development;
    • Solid grasp of Brand XP Design and the role of VIS;
    • Proficiency in collaborating with various external partners (e.g., creative agencies, graphic design agencies, packaging production companies, printing firms);
    • Capability in design thinking;
    • Aptitude for working in Agile cross-functional teams.
    Communication Focus:
    • Frequent interaction with OU Brand XP Consistency Design Lead, OU IMX Lead, Global Design Lead, OU IMX Team, XP Design, and VIS and Packaging leads in other OUs;
    • Ongoing engagement with external parties, particularly design agencies.
    Broad expertise in:
    • VIS development;
    • Creative strategy;
    • Packaging design;
    • Engagement of consumers and shoppers;
    • Creative development;
    • Agile methodologies;
    • Managing agencies;
    • Styling and photography;
    • Creative Cloud apps (Illustrator & Photoshop);
    • UX/UI.
    The primary location will be Mexico; however, a flexible location within Latin America countries is allowed. Budget relocation is not approved for this position.
