The Job

Key Responsibilities:

Work with engineers to manage purchase requisitions
Work with buyers to manage purchase orders
Work with project manager/planners to define and track project materials
Interface with suppliers (machine and sheet metal shops, electrical components) for quotation requests and material status
Track build status, and ship schedules and escalate shortages or delays vs plan
Coordinate with carriers for the most effective shipment of components
Support NPI sourcing on supplier discovery, commodity business plan, and strategy development/execution

The Profile

Working knowledge of Excel and MS Outlook
Basic knowledge of SAP or Oracle preferred
Experience with logistics and material procurement
English speaking and writing required, Mandarin, German and/or Korean preferred
Experience in purchasing and/or material planning
Able to handle multiple tasks concurrently
