    Would you like to work on groundbreaking technologies high-speed I/O technologies that enable next Intel Server products, and industry?I/O Technologies and Standards (IOTS) I/O PL Pathfinding lab team in Guadalajara, Mexico is looking for qualified and motivated Engineer.

    This role is an excellent opportunity to work on pathfinding projects to enable next generation high-speed I/O technologies such as PCI Express, CXL, and UPI/UXI.

    These technologies are critical for the success of DCAI's next server products.

    This position will offer many opportunities to collaborate and work across the Intel I/O community and with external industry partners.

    As well to work on a variety of I/O pathfinding projects contributing to early architectural definition through product launch.

    You would work in a dynamic team exploring solutions for scaling I/O and interconnect for future platforms and deliver simulation and lab-based proof of concepts.

    Also, to develop new I/O test and specification hardware, methods, tools, feasibility investigations and correlation results back to simulation models for both circuits and channels.

    These results will feed directly into development of new I/O electrical/logical specifications and hardware for Intel and industry.
    The role will require frequent presentations and report outs to technical partners and forums.

    Development of technical relationships with product design and research teams in the I/O community at Intel will be essential for success.

    Minimum Qualifications Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position: Bachelor's degree in electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.1+ years of experience in silicon validation electrical or functional failure analysis and debug, System-level debug using on-chip debug features such as DFX's, Logic Analyzers, Protocol Analyzers.1+ years of experience working with I/O bench characterization (EV/FV) methods and test equipment for PCI Express and UPI.1+ years of experience high speed I/O circuit and/or simulation knowledge.1+ years of experience with statistical analysis methods and tools such as DOE and JMP.1+ years of experience working with tools, scripting and automation development.

    Advanced English level.
    The position is in Mexico, it is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship.
    Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico.

    Preferred Qualifications Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:

    Hardware design and layout experience.
    Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, channel modeling experience.
    Hands-on experience with I/O bench characterization and speed test equipment. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
