    Job Description & Summary

    General Purpose (of the position):

    Integrated Content is responsible for the creation of a distinctive set of insights that can be differentiated in both traditional publishing channels (e.g. magazines, white papers) as well as new media channels (e.g. Facebook, Snapchat) -- in a way that differentiates our Partnership. Our integrated content supports our brand positioning, as well as our business marketing and sales efforts. These insights help current and/or prospective clients and our people envision the future, understand and address business issues and opportunities and creates urgency for our services.

    Functions and responsibilities:

    • Conveys insights of PwC leaders and subject matter specialists in solving business problems to generate demand for PwC.
    • Frames distinctive core ideas and develops strong storylines, working with the partners and subject matter specialists.
    • Creates digitally native content forms that are fit for purpose and fit for the audience, which includes articles, infographics, video scripts, blog posts, and content for web pages.
    • Works with other writers, external comms team, creatives in and marketers to create the final content and distribute the content to clients and prospects.
    • Independently manages projects to timely completion.
    • Uses data and analytics to understand the audience and craft content that would be effective with the audience.
    • Follows digital content development processes and standardized tools for strategic consulting and development.
    • Performs secondary research and analysis.
    • Presents research findings succinctly, both verbally and in written form, to partners, thought leaders, and project team, as needed.
    • Conducts interviews with subject matter specialists (both within the Firm and outside the Firm) on complex issues and internet content.
    • Reviews and edits manuscripts, to uphold observance of quality standards, to check facts and sources, for consistency of writing style.
    • Assists in the preparation of materials that promote effective use of the Integrated Content publication.
    • Monitors the impact of individual projects through debriefs, and contributes to the Integrated Content organization's thinking about how to improve content and content marketing.

    Academic background:

    • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Economics, Management, Business Administration

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Has at least five years of business writing experience, with a portfolio that shows an understanding of business issues and a compelling way of conveying insights
    • Knows the techniques of storytelling and data journalism; she/he also needs to know the particularities of digital content marketing, such as SEO and SEM
    • Understands the role of content in creating brand differentiation and generating demand for PwC solutions
    • Understands the range of business solutions that PwC brings to bear on clients' business problems from all Lines of Service and Sector dimensions
    • Proficient in mechanisms for effective delivery and distribution of content
    • Exercises brand stewardship, adhering to and applying guidelines covering verbal identity, visual identity, and other policies
    • Can analyze and use competitive intelligence, (i.e., how we stack up against the thought leaders, major influencers, and our competition) in specific topic areas
    • Understands media and content strategy, designing message pillars and aligning them to an editorial calendar
    • Understands connections between sales methodology and marketing, specifically, in the development of content that can be used readily for business development
    • Knowledgeable in marketing technology tools throughout the process of content ideation, creation, distribution, and analytics, and for the delivery of the right message to the right person at the right time
