    Job Description

    Responsibilities include:
    Working closely with Storage/Server HW design and firmware architects to provide early input on firmware design requirements.

    Working closely with firmware architects to complete high level design and low level design documentsWorking closely with project team to provide sizings and scheduling on given tasksDrive the firmware development effort from design, implementation, unit test, HW & FW integration to finally bug resolution to complete project to GA.Participate in firmware code development and code review processProvide regular and timely status updates to program management on development status.

    Provide support to field application engineers to debug and resolve problems at the customer site.


    Education and Experience:
    BS or MS degree in engineering or computer scienceExcellent working knowledge of embedded system designPreferred working knowledge and hands on experience on BIOS/BMC firmware developmentPreferred working knowledge of AMI BIOS/BMC frameworkExcellent working knowledge of various OS (Linux, Windows, Unix etc.)Experienced in Server/Storage system architectureExcellent working knowledge in scripting language and test automationsExperienced in testing of BMC, BIOS and SES firmware for storage/server applicationsGood understanding of SES, BMC, BIOS testing requirementGood communication skills to interact with colleagues, external customers and engineering teamsExperienced in system level problem debug, problem determination and finding resolutionStrong C/C++ programming in an embedded Linux environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
