Job Description As a Senior Software Engineer of our remote team, you will be willing to adapt to our evolving platform and collaborate in a highly passionate, collaborative and humble way with a great cross-functional team members located in different countries. The ideal engineer is a technical SaaS products enthusiast with a strong server-side background and built scalable cloud services. Responsibilities As a Senior Software Engineer, you will... Design and develop highly scalable and distributed cloud application using python and Django
    Very hands-on in designing, writing beautiful code and quickly building prototypes
    Natural at writing unit tests and integrating into CI/CD
    Design highly available backend services that scales horizontally with security in mind for public cloud applications (SaaS)
    Diagnose complex customer issues and took ownership of issue resolution
    Pleasant to work with, passion for solving customer problems with a can-do attitude
    Worked on an iterative and agile software delivery process
    Collaborate closely with other cross functional engineering teams
    Deliver rock solid production ready code What you bring to the team 8+ years of experience developing backend services in distributed and cloud environments
    Developed SaaS applications in the domain of microservices/applications, diagnostics and monitoring
    Strong Knowledge with Kubernetes, container, and other microservice technologies
    You have worked with common infrastructure tools like Docker, Terraform, Helm
    Experience with a microservice architecture running in containers (Docker or other containerization technology)
    Solid grasp on data structures and object-oriented design
    Strong backend programming skills, in languages like Python or Java etec is desired
    Experience designing RESTful services and APIs using frameworks like Django
    Experience with scaling backend services using caching technologies such as Redis or memcache is required
    Design backend messaging infrastructure using frameworks like Kafka or RabbitMQ
    Experience with services deployed in cloud-computing environments, AWS, AZURE or GCP
    Working knowledge of developing on a polyglot DB backend (Postgres, NoSQL databases like Cassandra, Hadoop or Elastic. Time-Series DB)
    Experience in configuring and maintaining Proxies like HA Proxy, Ngnix or envoy
    Well versed with of CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins Pipeline or Bamboo)
    Networking experience is a plus
    Comfortable with scoping effort and estimating development tasks within agile environment - scrum framework
