    BAT MEXICO IS LOOKING FOR AN IT DESIGN AUTHORITY SENIOR SERVICE MANAGER

    SENIORITY LEVEL: Manager

    FUNCTION: Digital Business Services

    LOCATION: Monterrey Mexico

    ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

    Responsible for ensuring our eCommerce applications (Magento, Shopify, are designed, developed, deployed and maintained effectively. The employee must make sure that the eCommerce platforms run with best practices and standards from Solution Design agreed in the area of Marketing D2C and B2B.

    Reports to: IT Head of Application Services

    Geographic Scope: Global

    WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Senior Sponsors, Department Heads, Process Owners
  • Responsible for – or at least build strong relationships with - Supplier Management
    • Support a Catalogue of Services
  • Design, map out, get buy-in for, and maintain the most appropriate Application/Infrastructure structure for the area
  • Work with partner teams on new changes, from initial interaction with markets during the requirements discovery phase through implementation, deployment of the completed changes and working with the Support team as part of maintenance.
  • Performing impact assessments (both functional and technical aspects) and providing decisions during Change Advisory Board meetings for changes to be implemented.
  • Making sure the solutions deployed are robust and future proof.
  • Lead technical investigations with the Support team on critical eCommerce issues.
  • Review releases from eCommerce platforms and evaluating the impact on the BAT eCommerce ecosystem.
  • Maintaining and overseeing governance.
  • Access and security management.

    • ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Practical knowledge of Agile and DevOps
  • 8+ years' experience on eCommerce Cloud Platforms (Magento, Shopify, others)
  • 10+ years in eCommerce Technical Architect and Platform roles
  • Technical knowledge in Digital Solutions (e-commerce, CRM)
  • Deep knowledge with support and design of integrations to/from Marketing D2C/B2B ecosystems
  • Supports services review process by providing data & analysis where applicable (complex apps landscape)
  • Operating in a Large Enterprise with several eCommerce platforms and integration with other Applications
  • Experience in large global organizations using in-sourced and out-sourced IT services and a wide working knowledge of global applications services management.
  • Strong communication skills: oral, written, presentation, facilitation

    • BENEFICIAL

  • Experience with Web Services GraphQL/REST/SOAP/WSDL/XML/SOA
  • Experience with AWS, Azure or similar cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of e-commerce data organization and catalogs (categories/products/attributes)
  • Knowledge of online payment gateways (., , PayPal, Worldpay,
  • Development in APEX classes, Visualforce, Lightning, Powershell, Java, SQL (Postgress), etc.
  • Experience in Microsoft InTune or Android Enterprise
  • Consumer Goods Domain Experience
  • ITIL v4
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment, preferably SOx and GDPR, or in a country with high standards of data protection
