    Description

    :

    Main responsibilities of the position:


    • Configure and install computers on the shop floor.

    • Configure and provide handhelds to designated users.

    • Participate in project meetings for New Product Introduction or Product Transfers

    • Integration with the O/T, IT and Network Teams to ensure seamless interconnection between the software and hardware components

    • Collaborate with O/T Team in testing and validation of MES and IMS solutions to ensure that they meet performance requirements

    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware or basic connectivity issues for MES/IMS devices

    • Flexibility in learning basic functionality of MES and IMS for effective troubleshooting

    • Apply inventory controls to IT footprint deployed on the shop floor

    • Manage inventory of spare parts

    Main job-specific requirements / skills:


    • Solid knowledge on configuration of Windows and Android devices (handhelds)

    • Hands on experience on installation of computers connected to enterprise networks

    • Experience supporting manufacturing systems including computers and label printers

    • Understanding of configuration and troubleshoot of label printers (Zebra preferable)

    • Intermediate English (Read and Write)
