    EDDY Pump is a global leader in the design and manufacture of industrial slurry pumps and dredge equipment. Our innovative technology has revolutionized the dredging industry, providing superior performance and efficiency in challenging environments. We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Tijuana.


    Responsibilities:


    • Lead the design and development of new products from concept to production, focusing on mechanical components and systems.
    • Conduct engineering analysis, including stress analysis, fluid dynamics, and thermal analysis, to ensure product performance and reliability.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and R&D, to optimize product design and functionality.
    • Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks) to create detailed 3D models, drawings, and specifications.
    • Perform design reviews, testing, and validation to meet performance, cost, and quality requirements.
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and designers.

    Requirements:


    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the industrial equipment or pump industry.
    • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks) and engineering analysis tools.
    • Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.
    • Experience with product development lifecycle and project management.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

    Pay:
    $80, $120,000.00 per month
    Experience:

    • solidworks: 5 years (required)
    • GD&T: 5 years (required)
