    About This Role

    Very is looking for a proactive Junior Recruiter for our Talent Acquisition team. This pivotal role involves managing our recruiting process from start to finish. You'll work intimately with hiring managers and interviewers to refine and enhance the candidate experience, from initial attraction and the prescreening call to the final offer. You will also support the Talent Acquisition team with administrative tasks like scheduling interviews, creating email templates and feedback forms, and cleaning our Applicant Tracking System, among others. This role is ideal for those eager to contribute significantly to our mission of hiring top-tier talent.

    Responsibilities

    Craft and post job openings on our ATS and various platforms.

    Collaborate with hiring managers to define ideal candidate profiles, refining recruitment criteria and processes.

    Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle:

    -- Assist with resume screening.

    -- Conduct initial prescreen interviews.

    -- Coordinate interview scheduling.

    -- Ensure timely follow-ups with candidates.

    -- Prepare and send offer letters.

    Master the use of our applicant tracking system (ATS), Lever.

    Source candidates on LinkedIn and other platforms

    Participate in recruiting events

    Required Qualifications

    Education and Experience

    Bachelor's degree or higher.

    At least 1 year of relevant recruiting experience, particularly in North and South America.

    Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

    Note: Only candidates who meet these qualifications will be considered.

    Ideal Additional Qualifications/Experience:

    Proficiency in Lever ATS.

    Familiarity with Google Docs and Sheets.

    Experience coordinating in-person recruiting events

    Contract

    This role is offered as an independent contractor for an indefinite term, requiring you to manage your tax and public social security contributions.

    We're confident that our compensation and benefits package (outlined below) will ensure your satisfaction with your take-home pay each month.

    Compensation

    Base Compensation

    USD $20,000 per year.

    Variable Compensation

    Up to 5% of your base salary in the first year.
