- Ensures appropriate analysis, planning and execution for projects related to specific areas of responsibility.
- Manages relationships with customers and other stakeholders to understand their needs and gather requirements for current and future products.
- Develops plans for introducing new products into marketplace.
- Provides guidance on technical and business issues regarding product development.
- Oversees quality assurance process and coordinates resolution of problems between engineering and support groups.
- Assesses competitive offerings and identifies customer needs.
- Creates prototypes and demonstrations to showcase product capabilities.
- Establishes standards and methods to measure project success.
- Develops and communicates detailed scope of work for each project.
- Develops and manages budget for area of responsibility.
- Do some financial auditing.
- Collaborates with internal resources to develop product roadmap.
- Applies knowledge of financial services industry trends and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Knowledge of financial auditing processes and software applications is MUST.
- Minimum 2 years experience in software/systems development.
- Experience as a product manager responsible for leading large scale complex software applications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to establish credibility across the organization.
- Advanced computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office suite.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles.
- Proven track record of strong group problem solving and multitasking abilities.
- Willing to come to the office in Mexico City at least twice a week.
