- Support the internal audit process, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Ensure quality audit documentation in compliance with standards and policies.
- Challenge management to ensure effective governance and risk management processes.
- Stay updated on regulations and industry changes affecting audit coverage.
- Monitor business operations with an external perspective and implement data analytics.
- Validate corrective actions to address audit findings and regulatory gaps.
- Develop and implement data analytics to support departmental initiatives.
- Build effective partner relationships and lead stakeholder meetings.
- Coach and mentor colleagues on audit methodology and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, or finance.
- 5+ years of experience in internal control and risk management.
- Strong communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate team members.
- Project management skills and experience with data analytic tools.
- Relevant Audit certifications such as CIA or CISA.
- Interest and experience in data analytics and visualization.
