Operational Leadership:- Lead the overall operation of the chemical processes plant, including production, maintenance, logistics, and quality control.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance, improve productivity, and reduce costs while maintaining product quality.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Team Management:- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of supervisors, engineers, technicians, and operators.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement among plant employees.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure employees are equipped to meet performance objectives and professional growth.
Process Optimization:- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements, utilizing data-driven approaches and best practices.
- Implement measures to minimize waste, optimize resource utilization, and enhance overall plant efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to develop and implement new processes and technologies.
Quality Assurance:- Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the consistency and reliability of our chemical products.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to address quality issues and customer concerns.
Communication and Collaboration:- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate closely with sales, supply chain, and customer service teams to meet customer requirements and support business objectives.
- Foster strong relationships with external partners, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership role within the chemical manufacturing industry, with a focus on plant operations.
- Strong understanding of chemical processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, drive performance improvements, and achieve operational excellence.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English languages.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and environmental standards applicable to chemical manufacturing operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
