    Working in the procurement team in Robotics Business Area in Mexico City, you will be deciding on and implementing plans for local sourcing to achieve business targets and assist regional and global sourcing initiatives.

    In this role you will assist in the implementation, maintenance and compliance of procurement & logistics activities, applying and implementing standards, tools and processes to ensure good quality, on-time delivery, optimal costs, and sustainability.

    Operations Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Designs and implements plans for local sourcing to reach the business Targets.
    • Supports global sourcing initiatives as required.
    • Applies and implements PL standards, tools and processes in the area of
    • responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost and sustainability.
    • Creates and updates reports, as required, following the ABB standards.
    • Executes effective and transparent communication internally and externally.
    • and between different units and centers.
    • Standardizing processes and implementing routines in line with global directives.

    Your background

    • Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related.
    • Experience in purchasing products for projects in the automotive and/or consumer industry.
    • Demonstrated experience with negotiations, PO management, monitoring and receipt of materials, invoices, etc.
    • Demonstrated experience working with enterprise resource planning and standard operating procedures.
    • SAP experience is a plus differential.
    • Travel availability (10%).
    • Valid visa and passport are desirable.
    • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
    • Fluent English is needed.
