Job Summary:The Senior Engineer provides technical expertise on designing new products and processes and improving and maintaining. Supports project execution by scheduling work to meet completion dates and technical specifications. Responsible for varied engineering assignments requiring a broad knowledge of an engineering specialty. May provide technical leadership and assist in training less experienced engineers. Works under limited supervision. Involved in purchasing/documenting and awareness of budgets. Independently provides technical expertise on designing, improving and maintaining new products and processes. In-depth supports project execution by scheduling work to meet completion dates and technical specifications. Responsible for varied engineering assignments. May provide technical leadership and coach less experienced engineers.
Serves as subject matter expert in Technical Foundation within area of expertise relevant to the business. May provide guidance/training to less experienced engineers. Functions as contact for customers and as such has a direct impact on customer satisfaction. The role is a seasoned professional contributor by performing engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.
