    Mercer is on the lookout for an experienced Investment Consulting Principal to join their expanding consulting practice based in either Mexico City or Monterrey.

    What can you look forward to?

    As an Investment Consulting Principal, you will lead a dynamic team of investment consultants to execute strategies and meet operational targets on various challenging projects. You will also be responsible for developing and providing tailor-made investment solutions for institutional clients, including pension fund sponsors, trustees, endowments, and other institutional asset managers by conducting analysis, organizing data, and generating reports using Mercer's specialized tools.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Directing complex client projects, overseeing revenue and profitability, and defining service scopes and team roles.
    • Crafting advanced solution designs for clients and providing investment guidance to institutional clients.
    • Developing and evaluating investment strategies for different client segments.
    • Demonstrating leadership within the Mexico team and expanding Investment Consulting business.
    • Growing client relationships through new business pitches and collaborative efforts.
    • Maintaining visibility through public engagements and involvement in professional societies.

    Desired qualifications:

    • A degree in finance, economics, or related fields, with a strong analytical background.
    • 10+ years of experience in Investment consulting, with a proven track record of selling and delivering services to senior executives.
    • CIPM/CFA and AMIB Figura 3 certification.
    • Profound knowledge of finance, mathematics, pensions industry, and investment products.
    • Ability to consult on a wide range of investment products and provide informed recommendations.
    • Expertise in project management, budget control, and timely delivery of quality results.
    • Excellent analytical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication abilities.
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite and fluency in English.
