    Responsibilities

    The Opportunity:

    Lead and ensure development and execution of the Extrusion/CC/Pellet/Pork categories under Innovation, Portfolio Transformation, Brand Maintenance and Productivity pillars, as well as managing the pilot plant and CapEx program in Tech Center R&D site, while coaching and developing team members building on their professional and personal growth.

    Your Impact:

    As R&D Innovation Manager your scope would consist of

  • Product Development : Deliver product innovation with robust design according to consumer needs. Main accountabilities are leading, making decisions, executing action plans, providing information and assessing risks. Impacted groups: R&D, Innov Comm, Manufacturing, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Procurement, Engineering.
  • Collaborate in the setting of product Innovation agenda in AOP and SDD : Participate in the creation and delivering of feasibility, risks assessment, technology options and product proposals. Main accountabilities are making decisions, providing information and assessing risks. Interaction with: R&D, Innov Comm, Marketing, Engineering, Sales, Finance.
  • Productivity: Deliver ideas and poposals, development and execute projects to reduce costs, improve processes, alternate ingredients/suppliers. Main accountabilities are leading, making decisions, providing information, assessing risks and executing action plans. Impacted groups: R&D, Manufacturing, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finances, Procurement.
  • Brand Stewardship : Guarantee product design through different tools and programs (consumer testing, reformulations, new suppliers and ingrdient validations, business continuity, CQA program, etc). Main accountabilities are leading, making decisions, providing information, assessing risks and executing action plans. Impacted groups: R&D, Manufacturing, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finances, Procurement.
  • Project Management: Coordinate project activites, resources (people and budget) and timing to ensure all initiatives are on time and with all technical deliverables (manuals, specifications, mass balances, etc) in place and well documented (through TSG tool). Main accountabilities are leading, making decisions, executing action plans, providing information and assessing risks. Impacted groups: R&D, Innov Comm, Manufacturing, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Procurement.
  • Portfolio Transformation: Lead, develop and execute re-formulation product initiatives to comply with internal or external guidelines/regulations, ensuring product design and compliance. Main accountabilities are leading, making decisions, executing actions, providing information and assessing risks. Impacted groups: R&D, Innov Comm, Manufacturing, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Procurement.
  • Pilot Plant Management: Lead the management of Pilot Plant in Tech Center, ensuring deliverables and functionality through supporting platforms/categories agenda. Main accountabilities are leading, making decisions, executing action plans, providing information and assessing risks. Impacted groups: R&D, Finance, Procurement, Engineering.
  • CapEx Program: Coordinate and ensure execution of CapEx inTech Center with Platforms and Finance. Main accountabilities are coordinating, making decisions, executing action plans, providing information and assessing risks. Impacted groups: R&D, Finance, Engineering.
  • Know the competitive environment of the snacks category to generate attractive proposals according to global or local trends as well as competitors monitoring to create/execute improvement actions.
  • Qualifications

    Who Are We Looking For?

    Education

  • Food Engineering/ Food Chemistry/ Food Technology/ Process Engineering bachelor's degree
  • Experience

  • Minimum 5 years in Research and Development (food industry)
  • Functional knowledge on technologies snacks (salty/ confectionary) technologies (TC, PC, Extrusion, Pellet, Popcorn, N&S, Confectionary)
  • Solid manufacturing processes knowledge
  • Advanced English language communication skills
  • Good knowledge of finances and cost analysis
  • Good knowledge in statistics
  • Good knowledge on raw materials functionality
  • Multidiciplinaty teams management
  • Solid skills on Leadership, Negotiation, Effective Communication, Networking,
