- Develops appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.
- Works with freight forwards and transportation companies to set best route and rate (reviews and approves all freight terms and agreements).
- Works with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
- Monitors and corrects inventory levels at outside warehouses and internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
- Is responsible for providing assistance and to liaise with customers
- Works together with the logistics operators and customs to plan and track shipments, and ensure goods are cleared through customs.
- Responsible for providing assistance accurately in preparing the necessary export/import documentations.
- Liase with Minister of Economy in all Export/Importation trade matter.
- Responsible to clear customs under definitive importation regime.
- Liase with Ventanilla unica to enter "Aviso Automatico"
- Responsible to attend Customs Authorities requirements and audits.
- Maintain SAP documents, creating Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Goods receipt, Invoicing,
- Compose and revise documents, such as invoices, reports, memos, spreadsheets, and other administrative documents.
- Bachelor's degree in foreign Trade / Supply Chain
- Steel, SAP (Sales and Distribution, Materials modules), and Foreign Industry experience
- Spanish/English language required
