    Program Manager – Driver Information

    Mission of the Role:

    The Program Manager at Visteon Corporation is responsible for leading, coordinating, and driving the successful execution of automotive programs, ensuring alignment with project goals, customer requirements, and financial goals. Upholding the highest standards of quality. The Program Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of automotive innovation while maintaining a strong focus on financial control to optimize program profitability and cost-effectiveness.

    Key Objectives of this Role:

  • Lead and coordinate the execution of automotive programs, ensuring adherence to project timelines, milestones, and processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate complete program design and development meeting customer deliverables successfully.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including customers and senior management, to provide updates on program status and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Utilize program management tools and methodologies to plan, monitor, and control program activities, resources, and deliverables.
  • Oversee program budget, expenses, and resource allocation, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial targets.
  • Participate in technical design reviews, DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) sessions, and customer meetings to ensure program alignment with quality standards and expectations.
  • Conduct thorough technical feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate program requirements and constraints.
  • Monitor program performance metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicator), identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to program team members, fostering their professional growth and development within the organization.

    • Key Performance Indicators:

  • Program Timelines Adherence. Launches and implementations on time
  • Program Efficiency and Project Financial Management Meet financial targets for the program assigned: EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) above 15% and IRR (Internal Rate of Return) above 30%Maximize quotes profitability: Delta IRR and EBITDA above 1%Engineering teams to be within forecast
  • Customer Satisfaction. Customer assessment depending on Program status.
  • On-Time Delivery. Launches and implementations on time

    • Key Year One Deliverables:

  • Involve directly in ongoing projects assigned.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, gaining insights into their expectations, needs, and perspectives. Attend to all customer revision meetingsCoordinate program review meetings
  • Structure a proper tracking for all change requests coming from suppliers (particularly End of Life components). Minimize redesigns by exploring Last Time Buy scenarios
  • Structure a proper tracking for all change requests coming from customers. Maximize quotes profitability: Delta IRR and EBITDA above 1%
  • On time RIO (risks) management. Minimize escalations to Chief Program Engineer
  • Complete on time all program reviews.
  • Respond quotes to customer in maximum 10 working days.
  • Complete all trainings assigned.

    • Qualification, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering; Master's degree desired.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in program management tools and methodologies, preferably: Agile, JIRA, MS Project.
  • Strong understanding of automotive engineering principles and product development processes.
  • Experience collaborating with Executive Team and Business Leaders.
  • Experience in project management, financial management and budget control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (regionally or globally) and manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results within project timelines.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO/TS 16949, APQP).
  • Fluent in English and Spanish languages
