    Finance - Financial Reporting Accountant - P3

    POSITION PROFILE

    The Financial Controller is responsible for accurate financial reporting for Legal Entities, ensuring compliance with local GAAP and IFRS. They manage accounting processes, external filings, and work with the Global Shared Service Centre to maintain accurate accounting practices.

    JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintain accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS.
    • Provide technical accounting guidance.
    • Ensure proper balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Prepare technical papers for significant items.
    • Complete statutory financial statements and filings on time.
    • Handle matters raised by statutory bodies professionally.
    • Lead process changes as required.
    • Coordinate internal and external audits.
    • Advise on accounting implications for business initiatives.

    QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)

    • Demonstrable experience in financial reporting.
    • Experience preparing annual statutory financial statements.
    • Knowledge of IFRS or local GAAP equivalents.
    • Professional accounting qualification.
    • Working knowledge of ERP systems and advanced excel skills.
    • Fluency in English.

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT
