    Job Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
  • Ensure supplier quality and performance data is available and accurate at all times for suppliers in their category.
  • Resolve supplier corrective action requests to system level completion.
  • Ensure supplier understands change control expectations as outlined in the supplier quality manual.
  • Ensure that all Quality requirements are understood by the Supplier
  • Verify form and content of the PPAP documents meet standards by completing the PPAP checklist and communicate issues back to suppliers for correction."
  • Supplier claim handling:
  • Evaluate failures against the part specification and Danfoss requirements
  • Identify if the failure is a recurrence
  • Follow up on claim activities to supplier
  • Control that containment, deviations or concession, corrective and preventive actions are implemented, verified and validated (8D)
  • Facilitate meetings and supplier visits as needed to align and resolve issues
  • Implement CSL 1 at suppliers as needed
  • Ensure supplier achieves system level root cause
  • Ensure supplier identifies and implements long term corrective actions
  • Ensure corrective actions are implemented across other potential parts/processes at the supplier
  • Ensure PPAP documentation is updated and living (PFMEA's, control plans, etc.
  • Maintain an expert level understanding of the global standards, tools, and templates and tie them to Danfoss expectations.
  • Train suppliers in the understanding and use of these tools, or engage SDE if further development is needed
  • Follow up and verification of implemented corrective actions. Verify actions are in place and effective
  • Conduct work cell audits at supplier during visits
  • Ensure supplier representatives and management are fully engaged and taking ownership of problems and solutions
  • Escalate issues as needed at supplier and Danfoss"
  • PPAP, 8D, Change control, Supplier quality manual expectations

    The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

  • 3-5 Years Experiance in a similar role
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
  • Fluent English
  • Root Cause Problem Solving
  • APQP Toolbox (IATF Toolbox)
  • ISO 9001/IATF 16949 Requirements
  • ISO 9001/IATF nd Party Audit
  • PPAP and Change Control
  • METAL CASTINGS; Low Pressure Die Casting, High Pressure Die Casting, Green Sand Casting, investment casting
  • Castings Steps: Material Inspection Molding ,Sand Mixing Molding, Melting Treating ,Pouring,Shakeout /KnockOff , Cleaning, Grinding Final Inspection ssure Die Casting, High Pressure Die Casting, Green Sand Casting, investment casting, etc.
